The piece & its details
A wisteria lavender Banarasi handloom sari with small gold rosette bootis scattered evenly across a soft, fluid body. The colour is gentle, but the gold keeps it firmly in the festive register.
The border carries the weight: a dense multi-band gold zari frame with a deeper violet accent running through it, continuing into the pallu. For daytime weddings, Diwali gatherings and cultural events where lavender should feel refined rather than pale.
