The piece & its details
A sky blue pure tussar silk Banarasi sari with the natural slub and soft grain that make tussar so distinctive. The clear blue body is scattered with Kadwa meenakari butis in gold zari and bright silk colour.
The border adds navy, green and silver scrollwork, while the pallu turns richer on a gold ground filled with meenakari florals. For daytime weddings and festive occasions where blue should feel fresh but still dressed.
