The piece & its details
A clear sea green organza Banarasi, left plain through the body so the colour and crisp, watery sheen of the silk do the work. It looks cool in daylight and glows under evening lights.
The border runs a flowering vine in pale gold zari, and the pallu opens into a generous panel of fine diagonal stripes alternating with floral bel lines. An easy, elegant pick for day weddings, mehendis and summer receptions.
