The piece & its details
A periwinkle Banarasi Kora organza sari with a plain body, crisp and translucent, left deliberately unworked so the colour and moiré texture can breathe. The restraint is what makes the pallu matter.
The pallu opens into a polychrome garden — orange, pink and teal flowers with green foliage — framed by a striped border and finished with multicolour tassels. For mehendis, daytime weddings and cultural events where the pallu should do all the talking.
