The piece & its details
A peacock teal Banarasi katan silk sari with small cherry-blossom bootis scattered across the body in gold-toned zari. The open body keeps the deep teal visible and gives the richer border and pallu space to arrive.
The border is a dense floral jaal, while the pallu shifts to large silver leaf forms set against gold work, finished by a navy end piece. For formal festive evenings where teal needs a little drama.
