The piece & its details
A parrot green Kanjeevaram with a turquoise border — a South Indian colour pairing that is bright, auspicious and completely unafraid. The body carries spaced peacock butas in gold-toned zari, each with a small flash of green meena.
The border rises in temple spikes with paisley and bloom motifs, and the pallu goes all in with mango paisleys, diamond lattice and floral kalga panels. Made for weddings, engagement lunches and festive mornings.
