The piece & its details
A maroon Banarasi mulberry silk sari with a restrained body of scattered leaf bootis and a richer rose floral border. The silk is deep and warm, letting the gold zari sit naturally against the ground.
The pallu is the distinctive part: a dense interlocking lattice in gold, framed by the same rose border. For evening functions and formal celebrations where the pallu should reward a closer look.
