The piece & its details
An organza Banarasi that moves through colour rather than pattern — lime at one end, shading through mint into clear aqua. The body is plain so the ombré does the work, and the crisp organza keeps the drape light and sharp.
A floral bel border in silver-toned zari frames the edge, and the pallu closes in a panel of fine diagonal stripes. For sangeets, receptions and summer weddings; the petticoat colour will pull the sari warmer or cooler.
