The piece & its details
A light lavender pure organza silk sari in Kora-Mulberry silk, handwoven in Kadwa with tiny meenakari floral butis scattered across the sheer body. The lavender ground stays soft and airy, giving the motifs room to breathe.
The border is the surprise: a wide rangkat skirt border in sapphire, sage, dusty rose and teal, each panel filled with gold floral work. The pallu carries the same jewel-toned rhythm, with a deep marigold blouse for contrast.
For weddings, sangeets and collector pieces where the border is meant to do the talking.
