The piece & its details
An ivory pure Kora silk Banarasi sari with gold and silver zari leaf butis scattered across a sheer, luminous ground. Fine vertical silver stripes run through the body, adding structure without disturbing the calm.
The border is a wide silver zari band with gold geometric and floral detail, finished by a sage green selvedge. The pallu opens into a richer silver field with gold paisley and floral medallions — elegant, restrained and quietly ceremonial.
