The piece & its details
An ivory pure katan-tissue Banarasi sari with the metallic glow that only tissue silk carries. The body is covered in a gold zari jaal, softened with meenakari butis in teal, pink, lavender, mint and coral.
The antique gold border gives the sheer body weight, while a teal-blue edge sharpens the ivory and gold. For receptions, festive evenings and occasions where the shimmer should feel woven in, not added on.
