The piece & its details
An ivory Banarasi mulberry silk sari with small diamond bootis woven tone-on-tone across a smooth, luminous body. A fine lime-green petni runs along the edge, giving the ivory and gold palette one unexpected stroke of colour.
The pallu opens into large naturalistic floral sprays in cream and gold zari, airy against the quieter body. For receptions, poojas and formal celebrations where the sari should feel restrained, polished and very elegant.
