The piece & its details
A gajiri pink Banarasi organza silk sari — warm rose with a peach undertone — scattered with vivid meenakari flower butis in coral, teal, purple, yellow and green. The sheer ground keeps the colour fresh rather than heavy.
The border and pallu are fuller, with painterly floral bouquets set against rose-gold zari and crisp crimson pinstripes. For mehendis, festive lunches and weddings where the sari should feel joyful but still refined.
