The piece & its details
A classic Kanchipuram pairing: deep emerald green against rich purple. The body is scattered with round zari coin butas on plain green, so the silk itself has room to shine.
The border carries temple spikes, birds and blooms in gold-toned zari across the purple, while the pallu opens into a full diamond lattice with floral motifs. This is wedding wardrobe territory — grand, traditional and beautifully photographed.
