The piece & its details
A crimson and blush Banarasi katan rangkat sari, with deep red and warm pink moving through the body in scalloped bands. Silver-toned zari works differently across each field, from larger medallions on the blush to lighter scatter on the crimson.
The pallu resolves into a silver diamond lattice, with red returning at the stripe and tassels. For Diwali, family weddings and evening celebrations where red is traditional but the construction should feel more considered.
