The piece & its details
A blush pink Banarasi in mulberry silk with a lotus pond pattern — blooms and leaf pads drifting between wavy water lines in gold-toned zari. Meenakari accents in violet, orange and green keep the pastel ground lively.
The pallu shifts to large kalga butas on a fine diaper ground, framed by a herringbone border and temple-spike edge. Soft, unusual and quietly playful, especially for daytime weddings and poojas.
